Our aim is to provide your pet with an environment that is healthy and happy. Therefore, as part of the check-in procedure every pet is thoroughly inspected for fleas and ticks or obvious signs of illness. If your pet is found to have fleas or ticks, we require he/she be treated before staying at Bark Avenue. There is a charge of $20.00 for this service.

Proof of Vaccinations:
We strongly encourage customers to fax or deliver current vaccination records several days prior to the check-in date to avoid any last minute confusion.

*Please Note: Puppies must be completed with their shot series prior to boarding.

Required Vaccinations:
Rabies (accept 1 or 3 year vaccinations)
DHPP (current within 1 year)
Bordetella/Canine Cough (accept 6 month)

Fleas and Ticks
All dogs must be on a veterinarian approved flea control program to protect the facility from any contamination and thus protect all pets. We recommend topical solutions such as Advantix and Frontline be applied no longer than two (2) weeks prior to stay for maximum protection. Flea collars are not an acceptable form of flea control. If fleas or ticks are found on a pet, treatment will be provided at owner's expense.
